As the lead school in the Endeavour Teaching School Alliance (ETSA, a National Teaching School), Tidemill has many great opportunities for staff. We are passionate about professional development and believe this is the key to providing the best possible education for pupils and job satisfaction for staff. We are part of a family of schools within the REAch2 Academy Trust.
Due to our passionate and talented team and diverse range of pupils, Tidemill is a fantastic place to work. Staff are genuinely open to sharing best practice and developing together. We are committed to deepening teaching knowledge and skill sets, career development and staff progression. We are proud of our home-grown talent and many of our teaching assistants have successfully trained as teachers through the Graduate Teacher Programme, Teach First and School Direct programmes, some of whom have since gone on to become Assistant or Deputy Heads and Headteachers. Our staff attend and lead a range of programmes including those for newly qualified, experienced teachers and school leaders. Through the Endeavour Teaching School Alliance, some of our staff are involved in providing school-to-school support to schools in need. As well as improving education for pupils in these schools, our teachers have also gained professional development from this work and several have achieved Specialist Leader of Education status and now lead on cross-borough support.
Tidemill are proud to provide exceptional learning experiences for our pupils and wish to recruit staff who are committed to providing an inclusive, stimulating environment which encourages pupils to become confident, happy learners.
